Showing and Flushing
Livvy is very proud when she goes pee-pee or poop on the potty. Mostly, because i think we praise her so much. She loves to save it to show Mama when she gets home. It's a point of pride.
She's also recently decided that it is a great privilege to flush the toilet. Even when it's Mama or dad's pride inspiring work. She gets tearful and angry when she sees or hears us flush the toilet, saying , "No! I wanna do it."
Reading Books
Olivia still ove sreading books. SWe'll often fnd her sitting quietly paging slowly through her books, or she'lkl be sitting and "reading" the story aloud, embellishing the story line for the puppets.
I Gotta Go!
Livvy is getting the concept down pretty well on potty training. She knows that when she gets that "funny feeling" that she needs to go sit on the potty. We're still having accidents, as expected, but it's very funny when she's playing alone, in the living room with her trains, she looks up, looks at us, and screams (while running to the bathroom) "I hafta go pee-pee!" and as the Doppler effect of her voice trails "and i get an-em-an-em." (M & Ms which we once used as incentives but now have been out of for week -- but she still says it.)
