Bath!
At the end of a day of rolling in the grass, eating yogurt, running around we all would need a bath. Olive and Emma jumped at the chance and spend most of the evening playing with the rubber ducks.
Big Shoes to Fill
Olivia loves shuffling around the house in our shoes. She models each and every pair of Jenny's shoes within reach. The other day it was raining and Olive wanted to go out on the deck. Jenny told her she could if she put on some shoes. She ran inside, and returned wearing Jenny's slippers.
To the letter of the law, I say. You have to be super specific with this one.
Sitting on the Potty
Well, she is fully clothed AND the potty is in the living room, but we'll take any interest in the potty that we can get.
The Budding Conversationalist
Olivia really wants to talk. Unfortunately her attempts at conversation are often (cute) nonsequitors.
The other night, for example, she was thrilled to bits to be eating dinner with Nora at the big table. Anneke was in the next room playing with Olivia's toys, which led Nora to lean over to Olivia and ask conspiratorially:
"Do you not want Anneke to play with your toys?"
Olivia's response was to point down at the furniture:
"Chair!"
She certainly isn't at a loss for words... someday maybe they'll even be appropriate to the occasion.
Cutting Vegitables
Olivia loves her wood vegitable set. She'll cut them open and velcro them back together over and over.
