Have Booger, Will Travel

A couple of days ago Liv and I were driving home from co-op when she announced, "Mamma, look! Booger." I glanced back to see if this was an accurate statement, and sure enough there was her little pointer finger with a wee smear of something on the tip. I handed her a tissue and confirmed, "Yes, that is a booger." And then I added, "Your nose made it!" because there has been more talk in our lives lately about bodily functions and what comes out of where. After a pause, Livvy asked in her best conversational tone "Mamma's nose mmfblabla booger?" (she "fills in" when she doesn't know a word.) "Yes, Mamma's nose makes boogers. LOTS of boogers..." (It is, after all, allergy season.) "Daddy's nose mmfblabla booger?" "Yes, Daddy's nose makes boogers, too! Everybody's nose makes boogers." "Ramma's nose mmfblabla booger?" "Yes, Grandma's nose makes boogers, too." And so it went, with Livvy requesting information on everyone's nose and potential boogers... Poppa, Sarah, Mikey, even Pi & Ingrid. Because really, she wants to know.
