Mail Slot Game, Fuss?

Liv, Henry and I went to the farmers market while Jenny had an accupuncture appointment. As we were driving back we were playing a game that we often play, where Livvy hands me a piece of paper through the headrest and calls it "mail" and I mock open it and read aloud what she has written, and then I fold it back up, hand it back and she "reads" what I wrote in reply. We play all sorts of variations and the letters are sometimes silly, serious or nonsense. This time we played for quite a while, and I interpreted what she wrote as:
Dear Dad, I'm getting busy, please don't send anymore letters. Love, Olivia
After reading this aloud, I stuck out my bottom lip and got mock-sad. Immediately, Livvy started poking the palm of her hand with her index finger making beeping noises. Then she put her palm to her ear and said "Ring, ring!" Another pause, hand still to her head, "Hello?" Me, "Hello?" "Hi, it's me Olivia, please send me more letters." So I wrote back to her, and her to me. Her next letter I read again, saying:
Dear Dad, I'm going away, I can't take time to read more of your letters. Love, Olivia
And then I stuck out my bottom lip, mock-cried. Immediately, again, fingers poking palm, beep-beeps, "Hello?" Me, "Hello?" "Hi, it's me Olivia. What's all the fuss about?" That made me laugh for about 10 minutes.
