Rolling over
So at the doctor's visit Wednesday I could not report any rolling activity on Henry's part, except some fitful turning onto his side from his back. Come Thursday morning parents' group, though, Henry must've been excited by the presence of so many peers: he rolled onto his tummy two or three times!
He's less sluglike every day.
Henry has also been showing a great deal more interest in the world around him in the past couple of weeks: he's noticed the dog and cat, and of course loves them. He goes nuts with excitement when we drop Liv off at school, because of all the little people and colors and sounds and bustle. He also is familiar with many of our little games ("this little piggy" etc) and gets excited - wide eyes, big smile - at the first sign that we're initiating something fun and familiar.
He continues to be a sweet and mellow fella, too... he so rarely cries, and he's content for long periods of time watching me or Olivia from his bouncy seat. Of course it doesn't hurt that big sister is a serious entertainer, showing him dozens of toys or performing puppet shows for little brother.
